Militaria/WWII: Two photographs depicting bombing raid damage. The first annotated fourth breaching of the Dortmund-Ems Canal near Ladbergen 1-1-45 with typed synopsis to reverse. The attack was most likely carried out in support of the Allies advance into Germany's industrial heartland. The second is annotated Aunay-Sur-Odon, completely obliterated by Bomber Command 14-6-44. Target contained enemy M/T and troop concentrations with typed synopsis on reverse. This action was likely in support of the later Battle for Caan. Original period photographs.
