A Chinese Han Dynasty (206BC-AD220) or later pottery funerary tomb figure of a mythical guardian lion with horns and out stretched tongue, modelled in seated position, raised on a plinth base, height 30cm.
Lacking tail section, and small section of horn, good overall patination.
Large hole to underside of one of the legs.
