Newark Brewed Stone Ginger Beer, two tone Ginger Beer Bottle, 18.5 cm high. * The artist William John Caparne (1856-1940) who lived and painted in Guernsey had connections to the family who were soft drink manufacturers in Newark where he once lived.. He was born a Caparn and added the 'e' to his surname to make it sound more French. His early watercolours are signed Caparn.
