A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY TRIO TO THE ROYAL ARTILLERY. A Great War trio comprising a 1914-15 Star named to 52808 GNR A.S. SOUTHALL R.F.A., War Medal and Victory Medal similarly named to Southall as an acting Bombardier in the R.A. Arthur Sidney Southall a resident of Newport served with the Royal Artillery, he died of wounds on the 30th May 1917, and is buried at the Bedford House Cemetery south of Ypres, his headstone reads 'Their Glory Shall not be Blotted out'. *CR Slight marks to surfaces.
