A good rare .177" "Abas Major" 2nd model air pistol, number 1676, marked "Abas Major" on the left of the air chamber and "Reg Design 84545" and "A.A. Brown & Sons B'ham" on the cocking lever, the right of the cocking lever marked "Abas" in triple circles, the cocking lever with pellet gauge, the chequered brown bakelite grips with "Abas" in circle. Near VGC with most blued finish (small rust patch, the action seized). £350-400
