Belgium: Liege World Fair Exposition 1939 collection including mint and used definitives and commemorative stamps, 2 imperforate specimen sets and varieties. Promotional/advertising on registered covers and postcards of Exposition and those involved including official. Over 140 postally used and unused postcards, black and white, some tinted ‘Bromolux’ type covering various stands, halls and venues, plus royal visits. In addition, pamphlets, guides, brochures, souvenirs, medal and abonnements (season tickets). All contained in sleeved blue album, black folder and document case.

From the collection of Tom Pring, a highly respected member of the Belgian Study Circle and the author of two works on Belgian issues, ‘Fine Barbe Varieties’ (2009) and ‘1893 Armoires du Royaume’ (2015). Pring was half-way through a work on the Ostend-Dover Route, which he was sadly unable to complete.
