A WWI Military Medal Group of four medals awarded to 218 Sergeant O S Penn MMGS, later promoted to Captain: George V Military Medal, 1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal, (MID oak leaf), with miniatures and two unrelated ribbon bars, with a commemorative medallion BFSS Nelson Centenary containing victory copper, ER VII, a silver-topped cane engraved O S Penn and a trench art buckle engraved with a tank. Mr O S Penn was part of the team that invented the tank in WWI. After the war, he became an engineer and inventor, setting up his own company Penn Inventions Ltd.
