Collection of 9 Silver and White Metal Thimbles including Chester Hallmarks.
1. Marked 'GWH & Co'. Chester hallmark half over edge of rim so difficult to distinguish year. Daisy top with waffle side and plain band.
2. Punched top with a 6-pointed star on the dome. Ornate band depicting birds and flowers.
3. Inscribed with 'Victoria Jubilee' along band with a small crown between the two words and the Chester assay mark. Punched top.
4. Marked 'J.S'. Punched top with a band of daisies inset with tiny turquoise stones (4 missing), and plain rim.
5. GW Harvey & Co. Chester 1903. Punched dome with decorated border
6. Charles Horner. Chester 1900. Punched dome with band decorated with sprays of leaves and a blank shield.
7. Sterling Silver Thimble Stamped 'JS' with Moonstone Top. Birmingham 1897. Punched sides with ornate band.
8. Henry Griffiths & Son Sterling Silver Thimble. Birmingham 1912. Rim of alternate waffle and flower. Punched dome.
9. Charles Horner Sterling Silver Thimble. Chester 1911. Floral design with waffle band and plain band.
