A mid-19th century oak linen press by Gillows, based on designs by A.W.N. Pugin for the New Palace of Westminster, the crenellated cornice above a carved linenfold panelled door and a mirrored door, the chamfered uprights carved with the initials IB or JB, the interior with four long trays above four drawers, one drawer stamped 'Gillows Lancaster’, the tinned iron hinges, escutcheon and key probably by Hardman of Birmingham, 217cm high, 153cm wide, 61cm
