Udston. Imperial Union Club", with engraved date on base 1888 - 93 opening to reveal gilt interior with personalised engraving "From yours very sincerely M Sectran Capt", 6cm x 3.5cm, 1.7oz. Notes: Colonel John Jack Forrest was the Provost of Hamilton, Justice of Grace and Assistant Sheriff-Substitute of Lanarkshire and lived in various large houses around Hamilton including Udston and later died at Udston House on the 28th August 1893
