A beautiful Sheffield electroplated Britannia metal Victorian tea set, by the maker John Turton (active 1840's-1870's). This fabulous set features large coffee pot, a tea pot, sugar caddy and creamer. These examples showcase an impressive profuse foliate and floral motif throughout, an unusual aviary finial to coffee and tea pot and each standing on four scrolled feet. Marked Hand Chased and featuring full hallmarks. In very good condition.
