Attributed to Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple, an Arts and Crafts oak Desk, the three quarter gallery with spindle supports and pierced heart motifs, above leather writing surface, over central drawer and kneehole, flanked three drawers and shelves to each side, on brass caps and casters, W 122 cm x H 100.5 cm x D 62 cm, the same design can be found in 'Daryl Bennett's Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple Arts and Crafts Furniture', page 77, 5.20, R1550.
