R.M.S. TITANIC: Rare archive of four letters relating to First-Class passenger and survivor Gladys Cherry. The collection includes a letter to Gladys dated June 10th 1912, another to her mother Lady Emily 'I am sorry to hear Gladys is still suffering the effects of the shock', the third and fourth letters relate to Gladys' survival both written within eight weeks of the disaster. Gladys was rescued in lifeboat No. 8 alongside her cousin the Countess of Rothes and her maid Roberta Maioni.
