A 19th Century Copeland 8 inch plastic clay tile from the Shakespeare series, printed and painted with a scene from Hamlet, together with a further example titled 'Talbot and the Countess of Avvergne', both with impressed marks. (2)
The Hamlet example has one small chip to the margin, the Talbot example shows numerous frits and nibbles to the margins on all sides.
