A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER SALTS
by John Wakelin & William Taylor, London 1781 and 1782, of two-handled oval form with rounded sides, the bowls with a beaded edge above an engraved crest, raised on a stepped oval foot decorated with beading. (2) 12.5cm long, 7.5 troy ounces gross
The marks are clear. No dents. Each stands well and doesn't wobble. In generally very good condition.
