£100
A pair of English porcelain florally encrusted bocage figures in the manner of Chelsea, mid 18th century, one modelled as a shepherd playing a pipe with a dog at his feet, the other as a shepherdess collecting flowers with a sheep at her feet, each on Rococo scrolled base with red painted anchor mark, each 26cm high (2) (at fault)
The shepherd figure shows a loss to the bocage above his head approximately 4cm wide. The shepherdess figure shows a loss to the left ear of the sheep. Both figures show small losses, chips and nibbles to the bocage and floral encrustation. Both show glazing faults, surface wear and rubbing to the gilt highlights. Both figures are dirty and would benefit from cleaning.
