A worksplate, LMS BUILT 1898 HORWICH. Locos built by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway at Horwich in 1898 were 11 Class 0-6-0 and 1008 Class 2-4-2T many of which survived into BR service. Cast brass, 10½"x6", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: C)
