An Antique Georgian citrine brooch, circa 1820, oval form, cut-down collet set with foil-back oval mixed-cut citrine, within relief foliate frame with closed-back settings, unmarked mount tests as 15ct gold, 23.3mm, 6.8g
Foil backing is quite tarnished, citrine has slightly worn facet edges, general wear to high points of settings, both brooch fitting plates have been re-soldered, fitting is working, unmarked
