An early 20c barograph retailed by Stewart of Limerick. The aneroid movement has an eight fold bellows chamber and an 11cm diam. dial with indications from 28-31 inches and weather indications such as 'stormy', 'rain' etc. The recording drum has a cylinder platform escapement and the whole movement is mounted on a mahogany base with a rectangular glass case over it and a drawer beneath for storage of charts. The base is 37cm wide overall.
The movement seems complete although the escapment on the recording drum is relcutant to run. the aneroid movement seems complete and the glasses on the cover are undamaged . The mahogany base is in good order.
