John Miller of London, apprenticed to Joseph Knibb. A William III walnut eight day longcase clock, the 12 inch square brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and dated aperture, five pillar movement with anchor escapement striking upon a bell, W.48cm H.213cm
Overall looks to be in very good clean condition, probably restored within the past 10 - 20 years or so, colour is a good mid to dark walnut tone, trunk door has probably original lock and working key, dial in good order with just a little light oxidisation to the silvering, movement looks good, trunk door with later? 14cm lenticule, original lock and working key, comes with pendulum and two brass cased works, box foot possibly reduced and certainly on later plinth.
