An exceptionally rare mid 18th century circa 1750 Dutch stipple engraved wineglass after Gyrinus and David Wolff. The glass featuring naive stipple engraving featuring cherubs with torches beneath a star, perhaps symbolism of Christmas night in Christianity. The trumpet bowl over central knop stem with bubble control centre. The whole thing over a circular folded foot. Rough pontil to underside.

Measures approx. 17.2cm tall, 7.5cm diameter at rim.
