19th century French small bodied guitar, labelled Fabrique De Derazey, Mirecourt; Back and sides: natural maple, repaired crack to centre back and another to lower bout, various minor marks, refinish; Top: natural spruce, refinishing, various dings and marks; Neck: ebonised; Fretboard: ebony; Frets: good, refret; Hardware: engraved brass tuning strips with ivory buttons; Case: ebonised wooden case; Nut width: 45mm; Scale length: 615mm; Overall condition: good for age

*The Derazey name is more commonly associated with violins made in the Mirecourt region in france. Like many luthiers, makers put their hand to other stringed instruments, particularly guitars.
