1841 Half Penny, CGS 80, Victoria. O. young head left, date below, R. Britannia seated facing right, legend surrounding. Uneven toning gives rise to the appearance of staining but shows underlying rainbows under light. Somewhat of an ugly duckling on the surface but a swan when inspected closely.
