WW1 trench art Ypres Cathedral wooden beam and badges. An unusual piece of WW1 trench art made from part of a wooden beam 51cms long which stands on two brass shell cases is covered in period military badges including: Royal Engineers, Middlesex Regiment, SWB, The Buffs, Royal Artillery, Royal Scots Greys, etc, and has an inscribed brass plaque on the top which reads: TIMBER FROM THE RUINS OF WIPERS CHURCH 1914-1918
