Two original wartime black and white photographs at Dulag Luft, sent by Squadron Leader Charles Edward Stuart "Lucky" Lockett to his wife Mrs Charles Lockett both dated as 1941.
"Lucky" Lockett can be seen in the photograph with POWs lined up as if for parade. In this image left to right include Nocholson, Datton, Davies, Squadron Leader Roger Bushell (Big X) who you can see from the side with the beard, Sergeant Galloway, Hugh Rowe, W.C. and "Lucky" Lockett.
The other image shows the cast of "The Murder of Sir Jasper Nash", one of the many in-camp entertainment productions to keep the POWs entertained. Left to right includes Flight Lieutenant Alan John Madge, Flying Officer Boardman, Lieutenant Commander Buckley, Lieutenant Commander Casson, and Flying Officer Panton. The plats on Boardmans wig are made of string from Red Cross boxes and the dress is a Red Cross knitted blanket. "Lucky" Lockett's garden can be seen either side of the group.
