2x Julio-Claudian coins consisting of: Caligula (37 - 41 CE) brass dupondius, 15.41 grams, 31.6 mm. Obv: Germanicus standing right in chariot, draped and holding eagle-tipped sceptre, GERMANICVS CAESAR in two lines. Rev: Germanicus standing left on platform, right arm outstretched, wearing full military attire, eagle-tipped sceptre in left hand, SIGNIS RECEPT/DEVICTIS GERM in two lines. Fair, with all details recognisable and a counterstamp to the bottom of the reverse. Claudius (41 - 54 CE) copper as, 13.35 grams, 27.6 mm, Obv: TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP, head left. Rev: CERES AVGVSTA, Ceres, veiled and draped, seated left on ornamental throne, holding two corn-ears and long torch, S C in ex. Fine.
