A 19th century French ormolu and porcelain  mantel clock, arched rectangular dial with Roman numerals, twin winding holes, eight day movement striking on a bell,  painted with scantilly draped maiden and cherubs, seated on a floral garland, the case with globular finial,  break bow centre base, with panels of cherubs, cast with laurel wreath swags and leafy scrolls, the movement inscribed LeRoy & Fils, Paris, 39cm high, c.1870
