Awards in this Gazette largely for the Battle of Messines 7/6/1917. They used 9.2 inch Howitzers. The MM 99% likely for removing burning ammo, casualties or extinguishing fires in gun pits, under heavy counter battery fire. The French 1914-1918 Croix de Guerre is not confirmed.
