Mary (1553-1554) silver Groat, pomegranate mintmark (S 2492, North 1960). Obverse: left-facing crowned bust with flowing hair, annulet stops in the legend which reads 'MARIA · [mintmark] · D'. G.' ANG' FRA.' Z: HIB.' REGI.'. Reverse: shield of arms over long cross fourchee, 'VERITAS TEMPORIS FILIA' around. Weight: 1.72g. Diameter: 24mm (widest point). Grade: F - chipped flan and some creasing but Fine details in some areas.
