A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 7568, STRATFORD, 1912, from a Great Eastern Railway Y14 Class 0-6-0 No 568, LNER J15 Class No 7568, renumbered 5466 in 1946, becoming BR 65466. It spent its BR days at Stratford and Colchester from where it was withdrawn in July 1958 and cut up at Stratford Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", cleaned and the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
