John Hagger Allis, Bristol, a Victorian mahogany cased twin fusee, 8-day mantle clock. white painted dial and moon hands. The movement chiming the hours, the ached case with carved and applied decoration and supported by compressed bun feet. 31.5 wide x 43 cm high x 18 cm deep
Footnote: John Haggar Allis, is recorded on page 13 of Brian Loomes, Watch and Clockmakers of the world. He is listed as working in Small St, Bristol from 1850-1876.
Condition report: The movement is inaccessible because the rear door is locked without a key. The hands move freely without being restricted by the mechanism and I assume the movement will require some attention.
