A 19th century continental violin, with dark stain and a very faint label 'Carlo...', single piece maple back, main body length 14 1/4 inches, overall length 22 3/4 inches, loose sound post, together with an early to mid 20th century case.
Provenance: from the family of Gabor Miklossy, a highly regarded artist, trained musician and collector.
