1891 FIRST PALM TREE ISSUE: Mint & used range to 7c on display pages. Includes shade varieties, perf. varieties, proofs of 1c, 2c & 3c values, identified flaws, offset, etc. Also Nov. 1893 cover from Port au Prince to New York franked by pair of 5c orange and Feb. 1903 commercial cover from Cap Haitien to France franked by 3c grey in combination with 7c scarlet of the later (1893) 2nd Palm Tree issue. Lot also inc. examples of the 2c on 3c surcharge with missing characters, etc. (c.100 plus 2 covers)
