A BOERWAR AND WWI GROUP OF MEDALS, the QSA and KSA are both correctly named to 6622 PTE W HASTINGS Rifle Brigade, the 1914-15 WWI trio of medals are correctly named to S1-SR 1128 PTE HASTINGS A.S.C., William Hastings served eight years in the Army and was awarded the QSA with Transvaal and Orange Free State Bars and the KSA with South Africa 1901 and 1902 Bars, he transferred to the Army Reserves in July 1907 but then re-enlisted in 1914 and served mainly as an instructor in the Hampshire Regiment Training Reserve Battalion and was then awarded the 1914-1915 Star Trio of medals, also included is a Rifle Brigade Cap Badge, a small French Victory medal and a good assortment of original documents and cards, this group is well worth of more research, Customers must satisfy themselves prior to sale in regards to conditions and authenticity, viewing is advised, condition reports are available on request
