A worksplate, ENGLISH ELECTRIC, ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS, 3209/8328, 1962, from a BR Class 37 diesel No D6782 allocated new to Hull Dairycoates in November 1962. Renumbered 37082 in February 1974, 37502 in March 1986 and 37602 in February 1995. Named BRITISH STEEL TEESIDE between March 1987 and January 1991. Currently owned and operated by Direct Rail Services at Carlisle. Chromed cast brass, 10"x4½", ex loco condition, loss at the two lower bolt holes. (Postage Band: B)
