import marked, Stockwell & Co, London 1928, rectangular form, the hinged cover decorated with a panel depicting classical figures within a landscape between white and blue enamel borders and engraved scrolling foliate details, the sides and base similarly engraved and enamelled in blue and white, the interior gilded. 7.8cm wide, 3.6 troy ounces gross
Some scratches to the surface of the central enamel panel on the case, hallmarks are clear, hinged cover opens and closes flush but not tightly, a small dent to the front edge of the cover above the thumbpiece, otherwise in good condition.
