SIDE STORE TURRET INK. Blobby. Deep, near black, green glass burst lip turret shaped ink, stopped side store to the cylindrical body. A similar bottle was registered by Francis Mordan in 1863 as an ink bottle. These slots are usually assumed to have held pen nibs, but evidence suggests otherwise. Mordan made and sold Stylograph pens filled with a pipette; this and free short, wood handled free dip pens or brushes, for glue, are pictured in catalogues. The neck circumference suggests an ink. Spectacular! Exc/ A1.
