Railway. Modern Traction. A selection of 35mm colour negatives by the late Steve Davies. There are approx. 700 mostly cut into strips of 4 and stored in protective negative sheets, with captions written on. Featuring modern traction, traction nameplates, some preserved steam and diesels plus stations and infrastructure mainly in the South Wales area in the late 1990's and early 2000's. Locations include: Barrow Hill, Margam, Winchcombe Museum, Reading, Yeovil, Westbury, Castle Cary, Tenby, Newport, Barry Sidings, Newton Abbot, Didcot Railway Centre, Crewe Open Day, Severn Valley Railway etc. There are several repeat shots of the same locomotive and some non-railway mixed in (these have not been counted).
