British 1888 pattern Lee Metford bayonet. Double edged blade 302mm in length, maker marked "Wilkinson, London" and dated 5 / 00 along with Crown and VR and inspection stamps. Overall length 425mm. Working release catch. Complete with scabbard which is well marked with inspection stamps.
Very clean condition overall. No damage to blade. Wooden grips have normal service wear. Leather to scabbard is in good condition with no damage.
