Amos Potter (1824-1850) was the son of John and Hannah (nee Street) Potter. On a census of 1841 he is recorded as residing at the Pottery where he was employed as a 'male servant', as was his brother John. At the time of Amos Potter's death, he was described as a 'traveller', i.e. salesman for Richard Evans
