With 5 copied pages of service record and POW roll, William Michael Wicks was born in Portsmouth enlisted as a Boy aged 15 19/9/92, served South Africa 1899-1903, convicted by DCM of drunkeness 29/7/13, discharged 18/9/13, re-enlisted 9/10/14, landed France 8/1/16, taken POW with 15th Bn at Croiselles 22/3/18, discharged 3/4/19.
