Star lot : A fantastic original antique Ethiopian orthodox triptych alterpiece made of handcarved wood featuring painted scenes of the life of Christ in panels in the centre and patron saints to the exterior including St George. Beautifully rendered in a coptic style with Amharic inscriptions. A masterfully rendered piece with a nice age to it a intricate carving to front and back.
