AN EDWARD VII PIERCED SILVER TEA STRAINER ALONG WITH WINE COASTER, (i) the tea strainer of circular form with openwork surround and decorative handles, Hallmarked to base William Comyns & Sons, Manufacturing silversmiths, Beak Street, London W1, c.1898. Dimensions: 12.5cm wide handle to handle x 3.5cm high approx. Weight: 1ozt approx. (ii) the large wine coaster with intricate foliate border, reeded to base, with turned hardwood inset to base. Possibly silver with marks rubbed or silverplate. Dimensions: 16cm wide x 4.5cm high approx.
