A rare and unusual German or Austrian 8 shot 11mm revolving rifle, 47" overall, barrel 28" with simple hinged rearsight, a lever beneath the fore end causes the cylinder to hinge out sideways for ejecting and loading, the frame and cylinder machine engraved with scrolls, foliage and hunting dog, walnut fore end and butt with chequered waist, steel mounts, and sling swivels. GWO & C, retaining most original grey/blue finish, the engraving sharp. £1000-1200
