A Chinese famille rose ‘mandarin’ bowl, Qianlong period, painted with figures in a lakeside garden, between red enamelled landscape vignettes and cellular panels, 28.4cm diameter. Condition - there is a hairline crack to the rim extending about halfway down through the body, some scratching to the glaze on the interior, some occasional wear to the gilding, otherwise in reasonable condition.
