A late 18thC/early 19thC German silver Tea Caddy, 750/1000 silver, marked 12 on the underside, of oval form with a band of bright cut decoration, raised on four cast supports, the hinged cover with correspondingly cast handle, gilt interior, 15cm long, 13cm high, 6.6ozt.
