DUE STAMP, ETC.; 1882 pair of envs. suitably headed & countersigned from Dagshai to Leeds/Ireland with 8pi+1a or 2z½a+8pi all tied by fine "L" in square bars; plus similar 1884 env. from a Paymaster Sergeant in the Essex Regt. in Aden with 9pi+1a tied by Aden "B" in square bars with v. fine matching "ADEN CANT." cds alongside as well as a v. fine London quartered circle "M/WC/B" Missent mark, and an unusual 1897 soldier's countersigned env. ex Muttra to Cannes (France) with 1a tied by partial squared circle but endorsed "15cts" in blue crayon with v. fine "T" in circle and so with French 30c Red Postage Due stamp tied by faint Cannes cds also on the front.
