Collection of Silver and White Metal Thimbles including:
1. Decorative band of two birds on a branch with leaves and flowers; decorated rim. Marked inside dome Sterling and S in shield for Simon Bros.
2. Eight panels alternately engraved with fern pattern. Inside dome marked with S in shield for Simon Bros.
3. Sterling and Gold Goldsmith Stern & Co Thimble. Decorative gold rim. Marked on inside of dome with mark of Goldsmith, Stern & Co.
4. Marked 'Sterling' in dome along with Simon Bros. 'S' in shield. Punched top with ornate decorative band. Stamped '11'.
5. Marked 'Sterling silver' in dome along with Simon Bros. 'S' in shield. Punched dome with plain silver band and a band of flowers.
6. Charles Horner Silver Thimble - Chester - 1891. All over patterned with wide silver rim.
Decorated with large chrysanthemums on band. 7. Maker's mark CS and FS with six-pointed star. Chester 1895.
8. White metal with no marks. Raised stars and shield on rim. Believed to be French.
9. White metal with no marks. Rim studded with stones in various colours in alternating ovals and lozenges.
10. Charles Horner Dorcas thimble. Chrysanthemum top with waffle rim. Marked 'Dorcas' and 'CH'
