A GEORGE III MAHOGANY CASED SILVER TEA CADDY
maker TL, London 1771, the caddy of rectangular section with a lift-off cover, engraved with a monogram, in a chequer-banded mahogany case, with a key. Caddy 10cm high, 6.1 troy ounces
The marks are clear. The caddy has a few tiny nicks on the edges, but it is otherwise in very good condition. The lock does not appear to be working. A very nice lot.
