Scott (Sir Walter, Bt., FRSE, FSAScot), eleven volumes of poetical works, comprising Minstrelsy of the Scottish Border, three volume set, third edition; The Lady of the Lake, fourth edition; The Lay of the Last Minstrel, eleventh edition; Marmion, seventh edition; Sir Tristrem, third edition; Ballads and Lyrical Pieces, fourth edition; Rokeby, second edition; The Lord of the Isles, fifth edition; & Dramatic Pieces, Edinburgh: Printed by James Ballantyne and Co., et al, 1806, 1810-13, 1815, & 1830, some half-titles, most with engraved frontispieces and additional title-pages, finely bound to match in contemporary blue straight-grained morocco gilt, lettered in gilt direct, gilt line turn-ins and rolled dentelles, all edges gilt, each volume with varying degrees of shelf wear, rubbing, etc., one compartment of Dramatic Pieces with a stable joint split, otherwise the set is displaying well, 8vo, (11)
